Helping participants grow in their creative potential through arts education (teaching skills in dance, acting and singing), cultivating self-confidence both on stage and off, and allowing them to be involved in high-quality, successful productions.
Gina Ridgley
Gina grew up as a competitive ice skater and fell in love with performing on stage in her freshman year of high school. She has a passion for the arts and how music and dance can affect the soul of the individual and community. She graduated from HIU in 2015 with a BA in Business Management and today works at Friends Church Yorba Linda along with her work at Spero. She has performed in and directed many musicals along side Erin and Ember at HIU. She has experience in many types of dance and has 5+ years of vocal training. Gina has an incredible husband, Sam, and a sweet son, Paxton! She loves being apart of this amazing team that gets to bring the arts to Orange County!
Ember Williams
Ember has been involved in teaching, directing, performing and leading music in a number of ways for more than 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Music degree from Hope International University. Ember has been a church worship leader, has taught private voice and piano lessons, has led vocal ensembles and has directed shows at Hope International University as well as other community theatre organizations for the last 14 years. It has always been a dream for Ember to start a performing arts program for youth, and she is thrilled to have had the opportunity, together with Erin and Gina, to start SPERO. Ember has a wonderful husband, Chris, and two beautiful children, Tyler and Alex. She loves living in Fullerton and being a part of such a vibrant community.
Erin Koshay
Erin spent most of her childhood surrounded by music and musical theatre. The arts has always held a huge part of her heart and she is thrilled to bring that passion and love of music and the arts to the youth in her community. With her Bachelor of Music from Hope International University, she has been teaching voice students in her private studio and local community theatres for over 2 years. Erin has expanded her experience in the other forms of art within musical theatre as the Artistic Director for several shows, creating scenic designs, set painting and construction, prop design and creation, and specialty makeup and hair. She has spent 4 years on the production side of musical theatre at HIU alongside Ember and Gina, which eventually lead to the creation of SPERO. Erin is married to Christian - an incredibly gifted performer and educator, and has 2 wonderful kiddos, Ryan and Emma!
