Tap is not only fun to watch, it develops musicality, exercises our body, and gives you another tool in your "musical theater belt". This class is an introductory class open to all ages that will explore the fundamentals of tap in a supportive environment. Musical theater hits will be a must. Please ensure before registering that you can attend all offered classes for the session. There will be a small showcase at the end of the classes. (If the class becomes too full, we will consider splitting by age range).

Instructor Bio - Sara Thresher
Sara Thresher has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Her love for musicals could be traced back to her first ever performance where she tapped to a song from “The King and I”. Her passion for dance never stopped as she earned her B.A. in Dance and continued to choreograph and perform around LA and Orange County. Her love of teaching began as her teacher’s apprentice in high school, and she now has over 20 years of experience. God gave her the opportunity to be the Creative Director of Cornerstone Academy of Performing Arts from its start in 2011 until 2019. After performing with SPERO in “Newsies” this year, she is excited to come alongside this new venture and help others grow in their love of dance and theater.
