Marian Bodnar

Vocal Foundations Workshop (T & A) | Voice Class (T/A)

Marian Bodnar is a veteran performer and educator with over forty-five years of professional singing and voice teaching experience. She has served on the faculties of Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts, El Camino College, Fullerton College, The Stella Adler Academy of Acting, and spent thirty years on the music faculty at California State University, Long Beach. Her stage career includes leading roles in West Side Story, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado, and Carousel, as well as seventeen seasons with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, performances with the Los Angeles Opera Chorus, cabaret, oratorio, and Disney voice work. She holds a B.M. from CSUF, an M.M. from CSULB, and is a certified Somatic Voice Instructor. Marian teaches privately in Fullerton, California.

 
 

Brandon Thresher

Intro to Improv Workshop (T/A) | Beginning Improv (T/A)

Brandon Thresher has been performing improv for nearly 30 years, bringing his passion for characters and storytelling to hundreds of shows from all over Southern California to Chicago. His experience spans high-energy short form competitions, sketch comedy, and full-length improvised plays. A seasoned performer, coach, and festival veteran, Brandon blends years of training with a passion for helping students discover confidence, and their endless creativity, on and off the stage.

 
 

Sara Thresher

Jazz for Musical Theatre 1 (K) | Jazz for Musical Theatre 1 & 2 (T)

Sara Thresher has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Her love for musicals could be traced back to her first ever performance where she tapped to a song from “The King and I”. Her passion for dance never stopped as she earned her B.A. in Dance and continued to choreograph and perform around LA and Orange County. Her love of teaching began as her teacher’s apprentice in high school, and she now has over 20 years of experience. God gave her the opportunity to be the Creative Director of Cornerstone Academy of Performing Arts from its start in 2011 until 2019. After performing with SPERO in “Newsies” this year, she is excited to come alongside this new venture and help others grow in their love of dance and theater.

 
 

Erin Koshay

Intro to Voice (K) | Private Voice Lessons (K/T/A)

Erin Koshay, co-founder of Spero PPA, has been a vocal instructor for 8 years, teaching students of all levels of vocal ability in classes and private lessons. Erin received her Bachelors of Music from Hope International University in 2014, training in vocal technique and worship arts and is currently an adjunct voice instructor at the university. Throughout the years, Erin has continued pursuing her knowledge and expertise of vocal pedagogy, vocal technique, and vocal health. She believes in creating a safe, encouraging, confience-boosting environment for all of her students and is filled with joy watching her students blossom under her direciton.

 
 

Steve Sandy

Spero Singers - Choir (T/A)

Steve Sandy is a choral director, music educator, composer, worship leader, and performer with more than 15 years of professional experience. He earned a B.A. in Choral Music Education from CSU Fullerton and an M.A. in Church Music from Hope International University. Steve currently serves as the Associate Pastor and Music Director at Anaheim First Christian Church.
